Penhaligon's EF and BB - how to identify reformulations?

Lately I hear that the soaps have been again reformulated and are living up to their standards...so I am contemplating a purchase of these two soaps - is there a way to identify them?
Thanks

Potassium Palmate is the first ingredient in the new formula and Sodium Cocoate is removed altogether.

The new formula is phenomenal ... I have Sartorial and it is rich, slick and very stable lather.

Any way yet to get that Sartorial in the states yet?

JUST FYI - the old truefitt & hill store in Chicago does have penhaligon's pucks but they are ALL OLD formula which peformed very poorly.

One easy way to tell is the new wood bowl - the wood is a darker color. But this doesn't help with the refill pucks, in which case I'd rely on the ingredients list.

I have a bowl of the Sartorial, and it is excellent.

After reading this thread, yesterday I went to buy a BB re-formulated soap in bowl from The Traditional Shaving's retail shop in Leeds. I'll try it today and post some comments if you wish.

I bought Sartorial shaving soap from The English Shaving Co. in UK, very prompt shipping to USA. They advised me that they also carry BB in the new formulation, in the dark wooden bowl. They also tell me that they have no English Fern because Penhaligons tells them they don't have English Fern. What the heck does that mean? Is it being reformulated also, and just on a slower schedule, or is there some other reason Pen's doesn't sell it? Also, I don't know about the availability of refills in the new desirable formulation. That would be a question for Pens or another retailer to address, I suppose. And yes, the lather is good.
