Pamphlet for the Gillette NEW // very neat!!!

I came across this neat pamphlet showing the different 'models' of the Gillette NEW. I have seen all these funky colorful cases before and I guess they have names. I think it dates to ~1930~33??

actually I just noticed on the back page it says: Printed in U.S.A. 7-28-30. That must be a date.

Very cool. I see it is actually called the "Gillette Angle Stroke". I also noticed some of those marketing gimmicks, 'you can use these in the old razor, but it's better if you buy a new razor'.

I was really surprised to see that we can still get DE blades for the exact same cost as they used to be. $5.00 for 50 blades - same price as Derby's, and other brands can be found even cheaper. Cool!

hmm well... the inflation calculator says $5.00 in 1930 is about $63 in 2008.
