I “needed a new Razor.. Osprey incoming

So because I ONLY have a Henson Ti22++ AND a Ti Blackbird… I felt like I really needed a new razor. Clearly, I have a large gap in my den. So, Osprey incoming. I agonized on the finish when I came across a picture of the Osprey’s one polished and one machined and I liked the machined look much better. It looked cooler to me. And it’s very important it looks cool, in fact I’d argue it’s more important than its ability to remove hair.


I mean, I had to get the Osprey, Shane practically forced me to. That’s the excuse I’m going with to my wife, sorry Shane, it was you or me..

I will keep you gentleman posted on my personal thoughts. It’s going up against the Blackbird so… it has its work cut out for it.

Ditto and believe Blackland has 30 day if you dislike you can return.

They usually run their biggest sales of the year on Black Friday and the holiday season. If I recall correctly, mine was either a 10 or 15% off on my TiBird.

Yeah I'll be waiting for your reviews too. I too have a TiBird which has placed top in my den razor after razor (though now it's joint top spot with a Yates EH'. I want to know your comparisons about your experience with both the TiBird and Osprey.

Tell me more about the Yates EH.. I’m mildly interested. I just don’t like the pay and wait approach to selling. They should have a few on hand to ship. Maybe 10, if those sell out quickly, time to re-evaluate lol.

I bought a brass Yates on RE that comes with the H plate.decided to get the EH in SS to try. Came last week after 2 months. Quite enjoy the shave. Smoother than TiBird but just as efficient. I find that it prefers balanced blades rather than sharp blades like the Bird. But yeah you gotta wait. Nice to have a new razor to try out while you're waiting for the Yates to come.

It states on blacklands website in bold letters, that the osprey in titanium is not able to be returned. while also stating, that if you don't like it, return it. So at this point who knows.

I got the SS version. I asked Shane but I haven’t received a reply. I just assumed he said yes
