I like it. Less of a "barber shop" smell than normal Pinaud. It smells like what a guy who wrote about baseball in the 1920s would smell like.
+2. I mixed a bottle of this and use it often; SR is also terrific as is. Go for it!
The #1 reason I keep it in my rotation is that the wife LOVES the smell. I mean really, really loves it. As I've mentioned before, it's like liquid Viagra for her, so...... it stays in the rotation.
I feel it has some similar leather notes with Aramis edt.
You fine sir, nailed that eluding scent that I could not place my finger on! Aramis! The same cologne worn by my drill instructor circa 1981, and by me later on.
