Just watch him talking from the oval office. His tie looked like it was tied by a six year old. Surely he has people to make sure he looks good before he goes on tv?

this is a shaving forum; what did his shave look like?
I couldn't care less. Bush didn't wear a tie very often either. This is like the debate on whether he should wear a jacket in the Oval Office.....a non-issue IMO.A lot of times he does not even wear one. I think as a president he should wear one more often...any thoughts on this.

Several presidents have smoked, Several presidents have had messy ties, several presidents have bowed to foreign leaders out of respect, gone with or without suit jackets....maybe it's because I'm young, but none of the character/decorum issues people seem to have with Mr. Obama and how he presents himself bother me at all. Presidents have had different and contrasting styles as long as the office has existed, all the way back to the stylistic differences between Washington and Adams.
YMMV.
A heck of a lot better than Nixons in the Kennedy debate I wager!!
