Here's my measurements of the Blackbird (after the seven day trial rather than before [as I mentioned in the OP]).

A big THANK YOU to my good friend Doug (@Rosseforp) for the accurate "end on" photos showing the blade exposure and the shaving angles.

This is awesome! 0.22 is more than expected but it's true that we do feel it nicely.
Do you have other measures like this?

This is the first time I've posted a blade exposure measurement. I've done a few shaving angle measurements, and a fair few general DE measurements in previous (new to me DE razor) posts.

I thought @ShavingByTheNumbers was the only one doing that kind of geek stuff.

Grant (@ShavingByTheNumbers) is another good friend. We used to collaborate quite a bit (with Grant doing the legwork), but we haven't been in contact recently as he only visits B&B occasionally these days.

If memory serves me correctly the Blackbird has a blade gap of .58 and it may have been Grant that provided that info quite a ways back when it hit the market...
