I saw a few threads on B&B that address our hobbies than shaving in particular.
I thought it could be interesting to see how it changed us (hopefully for the best), from a shaving perspective.
In my case. I used to be a morning shaver (like most) and I am now an afternoon shaver, in the shower!
So, why the change? It's the snowball effect.
Since I don't commute to work anymore, I have a good 90-120 minutes extra in my day. I decided to exercise. Like most projects that I do, I read about it quite a bit and tried different things. I had a good chunk of weight to lose that I've been carrying since I was probably a teenager. Nothing worked until now. The summary is, I started using MyFitnessPal, paid attention to what I ate (very closely), and started exercising at home. I started slow and then move the intensity up. Since I exercise after work, I shower after work. If someone is curious, over 12 months, I lost 1/3 of my body weight (around 70 pounds).
I was wet shaving every 2-5 days but recently started shaving in the shower and I'm back on every day. I also realized that I have a lot of gear that will probably outlast me. Showering in the shower melts the soap at a quicker pace. I haven't bought much in the last 4 years.
As long as I don't need to run to the office, I believe that this habit will stay.
So, what changed on your side?
- How has Covid affected your pipe smoking habits?
- Any foods you discovered when grocery store supply was affected by COVID lockdowns?
