The razor has the top and bottom piece that look like they could be from a Gillette NEW and a handle that looks like it comes from a Tech.
I bought it yesterday at an antique store for $5 plus tax thinking it was a ball handle NEW. But to my surprise when I started checking the razor wiki and Mr Razor's site I found that the handle on it looked like it came from a gold tech.
I have tried exchanging the various top, bottom and handles from this razor and my NEW and my Techs. All the parts seem to be interchangeable.
My question is what is it. I hope Achim will see this thread and chime in as well as some of the other guys who know a lot more about the vintage Gillettes than I do.
And by the way, I shaved with the razor in question this morning and got a BBS shave with no nicks or weepers all with a 5 shave old UK Wilkie. WOW what a shave from a razor who's type is under investigation.
