New member, ready to try wet shaving

A $14 big box store DE razor was enough to get me started. A Merkur Progress is the first razor that provided a good and comfortable shave. I am now a fan of Razorock Game Changers. A Razorock Game Changer .68 is a well built razor to begin on if $55 is within your budget. It is mild to learn on, and you can get more agressive plates for about $30 each if it is too mild after you hone your technique. I suggest learning to build a good lather right away. A poor lather can mess up a shave with the right razor. YouTube was my friend for this. Enjoy!
I would second the Razorock Game Changer 68 as a great learning tool. It's extremely well-made, stainless steel, will last forever and is mild enough you won't slice yourself to ribbons but efficient enough you'll get a really, really good shave.
