New Astra SP from India.

I have plenty of Russian Astra SP blades. I want to try the India version to see the difference for myself if any. The Amazon site lists them as being a Russian Astra. Has anyone ordered them lately from Amazon? I thought maybe they haven’t updated the description.

I bought two hundred packs from the River, and both came as manufactured in India. This is the one I ordered ( in December )

Well, you might find a vendor that has some old boxes but here in Holland all the usual suspects have not had any Russian ones since at least September last year.
I have plenty and do not care for the Indian made ones so when I run out, I have to find a new blade. I also like Permasharp a lot so stocked up on those as well.

Out of the samples I tried the various Russians and German Wilkinsons worked best for me. I did not get along with the ones made outside of those nations. My 2 favourites are Astra SP and Gillette Platinum.
