New AD?

I thought I had all my AD's taken care of. I just received my new Georgetown Pottery G5 scuttle, I already have the GP G4, I love them both, they make a nice lather.

I was reading reviews in general for the past couple of days, and came across one which compare's the Georgetown, the Moss, and the Dirty Bird. I focused on the Dirty Bird, did some follow up, and compared the 3 again. Last night at approx. 10PM I sent Julie at Dirty Bird and E-mail for some more info. I left the message and about 5 min. later I got a reply from Julie. Even at that hour she was taking care of business. Very nice I thought. Anyway without going into a long boring description, I'm now waiting for the arrival of a new Dirty Bird Scuttle.

It seems when one AD is done, another pops up to take its place.

Wow, isn't that the truth! I think it's never-ending. Anyway, I have been playing with the idea of another scuttle for some time now.

I think you'll be happy with the DB. I've been using my 1.5x for a week or so and I really like it. I have a bigger brush arriving tomorrow that I can't wait to try in it.

Which one did you get?

I'm almost tempted to order Julie's 2x just to see the size of it. The thing looks just massive. I think you would need a mop to make lather in the thing. Warm your lather in it and then make stew for 8 in the scuttle.

Now wait just a minute!!!! I ordered a DB 1.5x a few days ago and sold my G5, so I am without. You better not get mine

I was told by Julie that she was going to start on mine today, so yours is probably already being made.

I got the regular size John, I asked Julie and since I prefer smaller brushes, 20-22mm, she said the regular would probably be big enough.

Anyway I'm looking forward to getting it in 2-3 weeks.
