Just received the new SE plate, which converts my Supply 2.0 to the Supply SE. The SE, like the 2.0 has a definite preference for a neutral angle. First thing I noticed is how smooth and mellow the SE shaves. Definitely in the medium++ smooth range. Efficiency is on the mild side. Overall effectiveness is in the medium- area. No major issues with my shave, but the Supply SE did have some issues cleaning up my problem areas. I normally use a steep angle, so this might be me needing to program my brain to use the angle the Supply needs. More comments to follow after additional shaves. Nice razor!

The Graydog Chess (TNS 26mm Silver Synth knot) is a wonderful brush. The handle is very comfortable in my hand and the TNS Silver Synth knot builds a great lather. Great brush!

Shave number two with the new SE plate on the Supply 2.0. After a bit of experimentation, the best results are achieved with the cap, blade and plate pretty much flat against the face. Judicious and appropriate pressure, tilted ever so slightly toward the plate, helps the efficiency a little while the SE plate prevents issues with nicks and irritation. Even when using a bit of pressure, the Supply 2.0 with the SE plate remains a very mild, very smooth razor. On my old, grizzled, barbed wire whiskers, the overall effectiveness is definitely on the mild end of the scale. Took an extra pass and some additional touchups, but I was able to get a DFS. On my face/skin/beard, the Supply 2.0 plus the SE plate performs as a nice, worry free razor that is capable of very comfortable results!
