First use of the Prometheus Churning Candy Handle. A very comfortable handle. Easy to grip and use. Looks pretty nice, too. With a TNS 26mm Original BOSS Fan installed, performance is excellent. A very capable and enjoyable brush! :thumbup:

Martin de Candre Fougère is as good as soap gets. Love it! :thumbup:

Pinaud Clubman Aftershave is one of THE classic aftershaves. Reminds me of the barbershop! :thumbup:

Blade: Feather (3 and retired)
Brush: Turn-N-Shave 25mm Quartermoon Fan
Bowl: Captain's Choice Copper
Lather: Vitos Extra Super Coco
Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman

Paired the PAA Ascension with a Feather blade and opened it up 1/2 turn (whatever adjustment "number" that equals?) for the first two passes and 1/4 turn for the third and touch-up passesfor today's shave. Tried my preferred steep angle but moved quickly toward a neutral angle to minimize the "feel" of the teeth. With a more neutral angle, and opened 1/2 turn, the shave is medium efficient. Closing back to 1/4 turn for the third and touch-up passes did not lower the efficiency much but did help smooth things out. Overall results are very good. The PAA Copper Ascension is currently in my 'Extended, Occasional Use' category pending more shaves to see if it can 'Run With The Big Dogs'. :thumbup:
