Hi all-
So I'm thinking of biting the bullet and getting one of the Mergress razors. In the Shopping forum thread there is a picture of a version he makes with a longer handle. It comes out to 4.25" total length for the whole razor. That puts it in line with a long handled black beauty, which I like very much. So, my question is: has anyone out there gotten one of the long versions and if so how does it perform? Does the extra length and weight make it better or worse than a normal Progress?
Everyone who has gotten the standard modification seems very pleased, so I have no qualms about going that route. I'd just like to know if the long one is special since I'm a fan of the black beauty.
