What's new

Need input

I have been having a preference to soaps over creams as of late and want to know some suggestions on my next soap. I have tried MWF and thought it was ok , but am now looking at T&H , AOS Sandalwood or a La Toja shave stick. I did try an enjoyed a Valobra stick and am even wondering if I should restock on that but would like to try something new. Not interested in Tabac!!

I have as well , the only thing is I have currently a T&H grafton cream sitting in my mini den so that's why I am questioning it. I also hear AOS is the best around... Not sure...

Tabac is one soap that you must try. I would go with Geo F. Trumper Coconut or Rose, also...

+1

In reference to AOS soap, don't buy it if you're looking for any kind of fragrance. It performs well, but there are better values and better performing/smelling soaps out there. D.R. Harris comes to mind.

I would try the T&H next if it were me. I've heard great things about it.

I have a refill of Vintage Blades Lavender which I heard is made by T&H, However, I've never confirmed that. I can send it to you for free if you like (Just pay postage). It is triple milled but it is veggie based. I've tried several veggie based soaps and glycerin based soaps before but none have ever come close to my tallow based soaps. I only use tallow based soaps and I really don't see how wet shavers could use glycerin based soaps. Their lather has no density or creaminess. I also find the lather airy with no slip compared to the tallow based soaps. Just PM me you address and I'll be more than happy to send it to you.

+1 What he said. You may also want to consider some of the fine artisan products being offered here by Krissy and the Sue's.
