Yes, it stinks just as bad. One day wearing Lavanille AS was enough. It redefined cloying.

A real masterpeice scent has no soap as real scent artisans don't make shaving soap, e.g., Pancaldi, Patou, etc.

RazoRock - Zi Peppino
RazoRock - Santa Maria Del Fiore
RazoRock - X, XX and XXX
RazoRock have brilliant scented soaps.

I really like the scent of Barberia Bologni Vigoroso and Caties Bubbles Connecticut Shade. SV Colonia also... Just wish it was stronger. I also love the scent of Cella.

The only fougeres I've used were WCS Fougere and WK Fougere Bouquet, both of which were wonderful and smelled very similar. For anyone that has used these, does the SV Felce Aromatic smell similar to the WCS and WK Fougere Bouquet?

I prefer Felce to WK Fougere Bouquet which I sold. It's not a very pure Fougere - not green or woodsy or sharp or dry. It's a sweeter and warmer scent. Kind of cologne + herbs.

The only fougeres I've used were WCS Fougere and WK Fougere Bouquet, both of which were wonderful and smelled very similar. For anyone that has used these, does the SV Felce Aromatic smell similar to the WCS and WK Fougere Bouquet?

I’ve used all three. All good choices. However, IMHO, the scent of SV Felce is just other level stuff; a masterpiece. Word is they will be producing this in an EDT, like they did with Cubebe. If they do, I’ll buy 10 bottles on release. It smells that good. Closest thing to it currently I’ve found in EDT or EDP is Houbigant Fougere and Amouage Bracken Man. Enjoy!

Surely the soap scent is lost when you rinse after the shave? Unless you do what they do in the western movies where the cowboy, after he shaves, simply pats the remaining lather on his face dry with a towel ?

To be honest, neither are favourites of mine. I found WK Fougere Bouquet OK but unremarkable. I found Felce more interesting, but I agree that the cologne in it goes a little over the edge. I'm happier with Dolomiti.

I'll answer this as somebody who is heavily into fragrances. I won't use inspired by scents because they are dupes of fragrances and not original.
