My wife just doesn't understand my daily pursuit of the perfect barber shop shave....... anyone else in this boat?

Last time she got irritated that I bought some shaving oil, she thought it was too expensive. I commented that she spends $50 a month on fancy shampoo.....

I have the same predicament.

I own about 10 soaps and creams. It does not matter that she has hundreds of makeup items, perfumes and hair stuff, she justifies it by saying, "That's just how women are."

But all things considered, I can't complain. She's generally pretty awesome!

Easy, just don't shave for a month. She'll soon suggest that you take your razor in hand and shave off your beard. Neither of you should ever discuss shaving ever again.

+1, took the words right out of my mouth. Luckily for me my wife wants to start using a DE so I gave her my SS and I let her use my soaps/creams heck I'm not complaining when the great south is smooth as butter. Heh

I am a married man, truly understand your dilemma! My suggestion to you is, if you love the women and your razors. Tell her your doing it all for her so she look GOOOOD in public whith you. If she does not believe you take her out to dinner with a nice scruffy looking 5 day old mug on !! LOL
