What's new

My trip to the mall....samples!

I came home with three free samples to try from Lush and The Body Shop. I tried one of the Lush brushless, latherless creams, Razorantium, with surprising results (close, irritation free shave, and the most moisturized my skin has been after any cream or soap). I will try Shave the Planet tomorrow. I also have the TBS (Maca root) shaving cream. They were generous with the samples at Lush, so I'll be able to give them a thorough tryout. After reading many reviews, I was surprised at the result of the Lush product. I won't be paying $20+ a tub to get it in the permanent rotation, though. I can't believe how much stuff is out there to try!

Funny enough over here i didn't expect there to be a lush shop but there was and locally and thanks to you i have come back with a small pot of razorantium to give a try, who knows it could be my favourite product.

It does feel nice on the skin though, i will try it tomorrow as i've just had a shave.

Edit: just had a quick try, impressive does cause a bit of drag but it does shave close and the bristles did feel softer, what i do like about it is the light orange scent and the fact i don't need to use an asb, it feels that nice on the skin a quick wipe was all that was needed.

The cashier did say it's a very popular product, no good for cartridge razor as they'd get clogged up in no time.

Thanks for that, it's certainly a permanent resident in my rotation.

From reviews it seems some find it doesn't shave close i think the reason why it woks well for those with tough beads is because it softens but also it has quite a thick buffer to keep things smooth so you need to use a very aggressive razor, now those with thick beads would of course.

I have a feeling this will work incredibly well with a straight.

Cool! I see there have been some very negative reviews, but I think some folks will find it a welcome change of pace.
