My new-to-me Gold Henckels Rapide 7-day set

I just got this beauty in the mail today. A gold Henckels Rapide. I can't wait to try it out! The only thing I'm a bit unclear on is how to sharpen the wedge blades that it came with. If anyone can shed some light on it, I'd greatly appreciate it. I recall seeing in a thread about the Rapide that it can accept a modern SE blade, and it seems to fit quite well.

Awesome! I've never shaved with the original blades, but I hear that member Ambrose offers honing services.

A stropping handle and a strop normally came with that set. A wedge blade is basically a section of a straight razor blade so you would sharpen one in the same fashion. The main problem is how do you hold the blade when sharpening it. This is where stropping handle comes in handy.

It is a much smoother shaver with the wedge blades as opposed to modern SE blades.
