About two weeks ago, I returned home form work to find that I had been evicted from the basement 1/2 bath, a.k.a. my shave den
. My wife decided that she was going to redecorate it for me as a "gift of appreciation" for all of my hard work supporting the family (her words, not mine)
. Now mind you, "we fear change" and have a very subtle taste in decor... the exact opposite of my wife

So for the next week she kept me out and did her thing. She found a mirror and shelf at a garage sale... repainted the mirror and re-stained the shelf and vanity so that they matched. She then sanded all of the wood grain wall paneling and painted it a bluish/beige and covered all of the existing wall paper with vintage shaving adds. She painted all of the fixtures a oiled brass and hand painted my very own barber shoppe logo onto a curtain, to cover the closet space.
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!
