I've bought a new shaving brush today at a local drugstore (Müller, southern Germany) and it will be my daily brush. It's a HJM handmade shaving brush from Germany, as much as I know it's made by Mühle and the letters stand for Hans-Jürgen Müller, the owner of Mühle. Now I have totally 3 shaving brushes, a Plisson HMW #12 for special occasions and for weekends, a Vulfix travel brush in super and that HJM. And I feel certain that I won't buy more shaving brushes
It's a silvertip badger brush and it cost only 39€, with the current rate of exchange, this is about 53$, what a bargain !
I've used it once and I'm very content with its performance. The hair feels great on the face and it lathers like a machine! The size is perfect for my hands, neither too short nor too long. Unfortunately I don't know the exactly knot and handle size, but I have a comparison with my Vulfix travel brush, which has a 20mm bristle knot, a 45mm bristle loft and it stands 82mm tall overall.
