Have you tried Brut Revolution? How does it compare to the Actif? I just saw this in an Ingles (grocery store) the other day. Smelled pretty good, but didn't pick up a bottle. I guess they make the Revolution in an aftershave and cologne.

Not to go off-topic, but last month Dollar Tree Store were loaded up with Brut Revolution After Shave for $1! Locally they've still got some on the shelf. And at Dollar General they've got the Revolution Cologne for $5. So, I got a nice cheap little set. I think it smells really nice, especially the cologne - which isn't overpowering.

Totally different scents, the Brut Revolution is overly synthetic and Actif Blue is more of a deep citrus scent with some flowery over-tones.

Have you checked Ebay for Actif Blue? I'm guessing that with patience you could find some NOS for a reasonable price.

Off and on yes, I have seen the Cologne go cheap, $20-30 ish sometimes.

Trying to find the splash on lotion seems feeble though most of the bottles have been used too.

Theres currently a listing for $39.95, sorry to say I'm not going to pay that when I bought a bottle in the 90's for $4.

I'll continue to use my bottle sparsely

I hear you. I troll the bay for vintage aftershaves but I refuse to pay that kind of money for the drugstore products no matter how rare and unobtanium they are. There is too much current-production stuff on the market at that price point I have yet to try.

This was my first aftershave/cologne. I picked it up as a kid along with the matching gel deodorant. Wasnt shaving back then so i guess it was more of a cologne for me as a young lad in the mid 90's. My inspiration for using Brut was Wayne's World 2. When wayne asks garth if he's wearing Brut and he replies "Yes, my woman likes me in colognes." I cant say the scent of actif blue ever lured Kim Basinger to my door though.
