My first SuperLather!

I decided to put this in the soap forum because I've been hanging around here the most lately, and I think I'm becoming a soap convert! Thats another story though so onto the SuperLather. I used my first soap in a long time a few days ago. Proraso Green Tea and Oat. The scent is OK to me...not bad, but not amazing either. I couldn't believe how SLICK it was compared to all the creams I had been using! So this morning I dropped a dollop of TOBS Avocado on top of the Proraso cup and BAM! :a47: SuperLather was born. My first thought was why don't we all do this EVERY time we shave!? I know I'll be doing it every time at least for a while. I'm sure I will want to change things up though and use a product by itself eventually, but not any time soon! In conclusion, if you haven't superlathered go do it now!

SuperLather is a great way to make unique combinations of fragrance and shaving lather. Tallow with non-tallow, lavender with orange, shaving cream with soft shaving soaps. It will surprise many at how much different the lather can be once it is combined with another cream or soap. Your combination of Proraso Green Tea and Oat with TOBS Avocado sounds almost like something you would find in a South Beach Diet Plan. How was the fragrance combination?

......How was the fragrance combination?

The Proraso GT and Oat overpowered the Avocado, but only by a little. Honestly I was so amazed at the actual lather I didn't pay much attention to the smell! I can see how mixing different scents could get very interesting however....guess I'll just have to experiment more! :D :D :D
