Hi all! I made an order the other day (which some of you may have seen my post in the Newbie area) from West Coast Shaving. I picked up some Palmolive Refreshing Lemon and Proraso Red. My fiancee and I are both fans of sandalwood, so with that and mind and the fact that Proraso is highly talked about amongst the board, I ordered it. Until recently, I've never looked forward to shaving. Then again, I was also using canned goop and a Mach3. So when my package came in, I grabbed it from the table outside, ran in and opened it up. The Proraso had such an invigorating smell and it reminded me of my Grandpa from when I was younger. He must have used something similar. It was a pleasant smell. I may have to tell him about this next time I see him. It wasn't overwhelming, which I liked. I know some folks think its too weak, but that's ultimately a personal preference. It lathered very quick and thick and it seemed to be no time I was shaving. It provided a very close shave with my setup, which is a Gillette SS with Derby blades. I was VERY happy with my purchase and I do believe I will be trying the green Proraso somewhere down the road. I'm a fan of minty smells the cooling effect on my face. I guess you can call this a review of sorts, but mainly its a guy trying something new and expressing his profound happiness with the product. Cheers!

Proraso Red smells great and performs exactly like green (or C.O. Bigelow, which is identical). Enjoy!
I'm pretty much strictly a soap guy, but I have a tube of The Red and I really like it too.
i got two, red and green and saw at net a blue tube, i dont know where buy this blue.???all amazing and great.
