Fragrance similar to Proraso White

To me, Proraso white shaving soap is what true clean smells like. Taking the top off my bowl and inhaling that ever so mild eucalyptus mixed with fresh linen is one of those indescribable joys. I have never, ever smelled anything like it, excluding maybe Mugler Cologne (which I also adore.)

It’s the year 2024 and it’s weird. People don’t seem to like fragrance and many places have practically banned it. A nice, soapy fragrance I think is something that’s still acceptable. I would welcome any recommendations but I’m hoping there’s something out there that captures that true clean of Proraso that I can wear to the office.

Proraso white was my first soap and I was immediately in love with the scent. I cannot think of a matching a/s but the light Italian citrus recommendation sounds nice. I would also recommend Speick aftershave for a gently scented fresh experience.

Part of the appeal of lightly-scented soaps, at least for me, is that I can choose the A/S scent I am in the mood for at the moment. It’s a feature, not a bug. For instance I’ve recently discovered Haslinger Schafsmilch soap, and it has very little scent, and I can wear whatever I like with it. I do not think I’ll get any of their other scents for this very reason, I’ll stick with the Schafsmilch.

Some of the S.V. And other US artisan soaps I’ve recently discovered, I’d love to have their matching scents. It sounds like you find not having a strong scent is what you are after. Maybe just use Thayer’s Witch Hazel and call it good?

I don't think I've ever heard of such a thing. Where is this happening?
Hospitals and medical clinics are first to come to mind - many offices have fragrance policies as well. My company (I"m a pilot) has guidance on hygene including a line about colognes/perfumes.
Some people are very sensitive to the chemicals that make up fragrances (including aftershaves & colognes). I myself cannot go down the laundry and household cleaning aisle at the grocery without becoming flushed in the face.

Hahahaha! @Hairy Callahan I'm with you. But, apparently, it can actually trigger migraines in some people. It's why I don't wear colognes at the office. I will if I'm out with the wife, but not at the office.

I'll wear aftershaves, and they may have some staying power, but not enough to trigger migraines. But not colognes. I think it's rare, like peanut allergies, but I'd rather not wear colognes if I can prevent someone having a migraine.

Maybe something like CK One?
I've paired Proraso White with Network by Lomani and it compliments it quite well, and people have compared that to CK One (although I will admit I haven't tried CK One myself yet)
