Muhle Synthetic Fiber Quick Dry

Just bought a Muhle Synthetic Travel Brush, cute little spud and a nifty lightweight design. Perfect for travel. I don't see the rapid dry time concept coming into play here though. Are these things supposed to dry di di mau?? Mine takes not that much less than a similar sized badger or boar.

Well in my bathroom a Muhle synthetic brush drys overnight. With my badger, boar and horse brushes they took a few days to completely dry.

Just another reason why I have only synthetic brushes now.

Acmemfg, are you shaking or squeezing the water out of it before you put it off to dry?

I know it is hot and humid down South but is it that humid?

Always shake until its senseless then swipe my brushes across a towel a few strokes. No big thing really...this is an excellent brush. Just rather curious as to why it does not dry out significantly (1-3 hours) faster than my natural fiber brushes (overnight). No worries though, like I said, it is a superb brush and I am happy with it

I have a Silvertip Fibre(tm) brush with plastic handle and it dries a lot faster than a natural hair brush. The bristles are essentially dry within minutes although the knot probably takes somewhat longer. Ideal for travelling (which I bought it for specifically) since it can't rot even if it's not fully dried when packed.

I am not sure if the synth brushes "soak" up water like the natural hair badgers do.

I've noticed that my larger knot badgers can still be damp inside 3-4 days after the last time they were used. My Muhle seems mostly dry by the end of the day.

The synthetic fibres probably don't soak up any water... what are they made of, nylon? The brush as a whole stores water well enough for lathering, though.

That's right. They're solid. Which means they don't need soaking and they dry much faster.
