Mughetto di Bologna

I recently ordered a my first Razorock soap, Mughetto di Bologna. All I can say is, wow! I chose this particular soap because of the scent (lily of the valley) and because I like Italian soft soaps (Cella, Proraso/Omega). I've really been enjoying this soap. The scent is great, but what really struck me is the creaminess of the lather (better than Cella in my opinion). I'm a fan of Arko, and this soap closely matches the ease of lathering and creaminess of lather that I get from Arko. People have often wished for "a better-smelling Arko", for my money Razorock Mughetto di Bologna fits that definition.

I've only tried this one Razorock soap, do the other soaps have the same creamy lather?

I took a look at this soap, and the name kind of threw me off. I didnt want the scent of Bologna anywhere near my face. Guess it means something else in italian?

I have used the Classic. Love how easy it is to lather.

Not to steal the thread, but can anyone advise if the RR mentholated soap has a nice bite, and if it is as easy to lather?

Yeah, who would have thunk that like Hamburg and Frankfurt, Bologna happens to be the name of a city in Italy. :)

The name confused me as well. I had to look up what it meant, when I saw that it was lily of the valley I knew I had to try it. I recently moved from Michigan to Maryland. I owned a small house in Michigan with a nice backyard. Lily of the Valley grew wild along the rear wall of the house, my wife used to take cuttings and put them in a small vase on our kitchen table. I always associate that smell with that little house and the early years of my marriage. The Mughetto di Bologna scent is very true to that of the flower.

Not much menthol in the Mentolipto. The effect is more of a fragrance than a chill factor. It is a twin to Valobra Menthol, if you are familiar with that soap. Both are nice soaps but not exactly menthol bombs.
