Much deserved praise for shoebox shave shop

Just received a small order I'd placed with Shoebox Shave Shop today. Ordered it on Saturday, and received it today, with the holiday that means I received it lightning fast in 2 business days. Everything I received was even better than what was described on the site, and they even threw in a free cheapy DE for me. That's some really commendable service in my book, I'd recommend shoebox to anyone.

I too have ordered from ShoeboxShaveShop a couple of times and they will certainly be getting more of my business. Mine were also small orders, yet there was still a free sample or two, fast shipping, and even a hand written thank you on the receipt!

And what I really like is they provide the country of origin of virtually every product; especially the blades and the lesser-known and "el cheapo" razors.

I was checking out the Scratch and Dent and BLOWOUT Sales Page the other day, and on one of the more interesting off-brand razors he even advises/warns the shopper that the blade included with the razor is a COUNTERFEIT Lord blade. Now how's that for honesty in advertising!!:thumbup1:

Yup, they are definitely the go-to-first on my list!

Me too, I ordered TOBS samples from them and got prompt delivery from the US to Germany. Fantastic!

I like Shoebox for those odd ball soaps and creams that you might not ever hear about. Stuff like Booster's and Fraser's. Samples of various creams and aftershaves are nice as well. Knowing I can pick out samples of TOBS before investing into full pots of the stuff is nice. They also make the stuff really affordable. Once in awhile when I just want the product that is off the beaten path I look to the Shoebox.

I went crazy on the scratch and dent section haha. I picked up two of those boreal brushes (iffy finish as described, but it's a quality made brush) and a few of the blowout razors, just to try some different styles out. The TTO looks good but it's a little finicky when it opens, and the "big bug" is a serious value. The finish on mine was 9/10 and it's pretty solidly made, and has nice weight to it, I think it was 2 bucks.

I've had good dealings with Shoebox, and recommend them as a vendor. They also have an excellent supply of hard-to-find Italian shaving supplies.

I recently ordered a ton of TOBS samples from him. It was shipped fast and well packaged. I have zero complaints based on that transaction and will definitely try him again.
