More Bostonian Q's

Hi Guys

My first posting so here goes........I recently picked up this vintage Gillette for £16 on UK Ebay, it came boxed although I don't believe the box to be contemporary with the razor. I have to say I'm very pleased with my purchase given its price and ability to give a first class shave.

So I'm I correct in saying its a Bostonian and can you help out with the dating, the serial number is 269364B.

Is the box correct, if not can someone point me in the right direction for a photo of the correct box.

By the way guys great site, such a wealth of information!

Regards

Nick:001_smile

Nick, Welcome to B&B.
Here is a picture of a complete cased Bostonian. It comes from one of our members gallery online, Mr Razor.

According to your date code, your razor was produced in 1922.

Many thanks for all your prompt replies, very infomative indeed. I will be keeping my eyes open for a more suitable case.
