MMMM Got my coticule back. Time to sharpen!

I've been using my strop to re-edge my gold dollar a little, as my coticule's been at least 200 miles from me since June.

I'm looking forward to a delicious new edge on my straight.

Congrats...but I dont like seeing posts like this. I've been convincing myself for quite awhile now that a Barbers hone is all I need.

Actually, it probably is. I got the coticule because I wanted to replace my razor and do some restorations. With the edge this one has, I'm going to need a coarse stone to smooth out the blade. It looks like someone took an angle grinder to this thing!

But a coticule won't hurt

Don't try The coticule then.I tried one now I have 4 and 2 more on the way. They are all slightly different and I love to look at them as much as use them.

I know the Barbers will suffice for years, but so would one cream, soap, brush, DE or Str8...and clearly I've fallen to those ADs
