@Flintstone65 , you picked up a full slate down there at the quarry. So sorry about the bad break for your better half.
If you don't mind the opening mechanism (some people hate it) it's a nice little shaver isn't it?Now I know why you guys like this razor so much.

Fred, take care of yourself and your wife.
I found if you hold it some what level when installing and withdrawing blades works the best for myself. It took a few attempts to figure that out, that is the beauty of the internet it gives us a distant voice almost anywhere to figure out something where the old timers used word of mouth that took a little longer and no photo's instantly (amazing when you think about not that many years ago we did not have this.)If you don't mind the opening mechanism (some people hate it) it's a nice little shaver isn't it?

Shaved on Monday with a 1940s GEM Micromatic Clog Pruf using a GEM/Personna blade and Cremo Original shave cream. Now I know why Micromatic has its own long thread on B & B. The Micromatic was very efficient with (less feedback sound than my 1912) and mild at the same time. TTO is a nice feature. Shave angle was very intuitive. No nicks. Definitely will keep this wonderful razor in my rotation.
