Mess Hall Acquisitions

I was just talking to Stefan a little while ago and your name came up. He's got some available that he might be listing on his site so you might want to check in with him again.

I love helping to spend other people's money. :biggrin1:

You are a bad man!

Thanks Rob!

Did some horse trading yesterday and got this-

proxy.php

A 300mm AS core Hiro suji watch out Brisket!

Hmmm... that could use a new Handle.....

I'm sure it will get one too. :001_tt2:

Adding Adam to the "Bad man list"

Whoa! Nice handle for a super slicer. :thumbup1:

My acquisition was pretty small today, but that doesn't matter. Whenever I'm expecting anything, however small, I turn into Navin R. Johnson from The Jerk: "The new phonebook's here! The new phonebook's here!"

This time, I was tagteamed by Jim and Dave
and not the way Nick wants to be:tongue_sm

Shown here with what may well be the last ever TM paddle.

Always a pleasure TJ.

Knife AD is only slightly less expensive than .45 AD.

Lets get some cow on the stumps and test em out!

Give it a shot yet Ouch?

I've recently gotten a few yummy selections from http://www.silkroadspices.ca/

I've gotten the following...

Fines Herbes
Herbes de Provence
Quatre Épices
Juniper Berry Spice Rub
St. Laurent Steak Spice
Silk Road All Purpose Blend
Italian Seasoning
Bow River Fish Blend

Did Jim get stuck in his basement? Has anyone heard from him? He hasn't bought a new knife in like a whole week - something's gotta' be wrong.

Well Gentlemen I've just moved to a new home and apparently I am in charge of cooking (no dishes yes!).

I've got some delightful south australian wholegrain flour/yeast mix, and I realised I need to buy measuring cups/spoons so tomorrow looks to be a day of baking.

What recommendations do you all have for pizza bases and pasta making?

I'm in the process of planting my heirloom vegetables, so I will have to put some photos up when the seeds sprout.

I'm also after a good chopping board and I've nearly decided on a paring knife from Korin: http://korin.com/Molybdenum-Paring-Knife?sc=22&category=52103 , any recommendations?

Thanks gents

That is a very nice parer! I have it and its very handy.
I am not sure about the baking items but congratulations on your new home.
