Menthol creams that DON'T smell like Proraso

I'd like to know of any menthol based creams that DON'T smell like the following:

Proraso
Omega
C.O Bigelow
Santa Maria Novella

And why is it all the above creams smell the same? Do P160 and Valobra smell the same? I enjoy a menthol kick, however I just can't come to terms with the smell of eucalyptus that seems to accompany it.

Well a quick answer as to why they all smell the same is that they are all made by the same company.
Proraso,Santa Maria Novella,Omega and CO Bigelow are in fact all the same cream minus one or two ingredients.

As for menthol creams that smell different that's a tough one,as generally the menthol tends to be the overpowering scent when added to a shaving cream.
Of the other menthol creams I have used(Ingram's,Palmolive Menthol, and even menthol foamy in the can)they really all have that clinical menthol smell.

I would have to agree with this. You might be able to augment the scent, adding eucalyptus, or another complimentary scent, but the menthol has a scent of it's own that is not easy to hide

Try Godrej menthol.

Also, I really enjoy the Gillette Foamy Menthol, but the scent makes my eyes water once it's on my face!

Supposedly a straight peppermint EO cream will have a cooling effect and maybe that doesn't smell quite as bad as the mentholated creams to your nose.

Arko 'Moist' is a very good cream, has a very nice and cooling Menthol component. Recommended.

I've been working on finishing off a tube of Proraso for about two months now (when will it finally be gone?) and I'm getting a little tired of the smell too... it can be refreshing, but it's not one of my favorites.

Ingram -- Has menthol, pretty mild scent, and different than Proraso.

Anthony Logistics SC -- OK, this one doesn't have menthol, but it has Eucalyptus oil, Peppermint extract and Peppermint Oil. It is pretty cooling and doesn't smell anything like Proraso or the others.

Can you lather the Anthony Logistics? I love peppermint.

+1 for Ingram, it smells like Williams shave soap to me.
Sorry for the double post.

Yep, you can. The scent is very very mild, slightly minty. It makes very good and rich lather once you get the water ratio right. They also have a gel which doesn't lather, so don't get them confused.
