May be going to France, what to keep an eye out for

^^^That was my impression as well. You're probably not going to find anything cheaper than you can get it for online before shipping, but then again it's not like Art of Shaving where you've got a 50% markup on everything 'just because' they're a brick and mortar store.

They were as I call department store prices, i.e., full retail prices. The MdC was the same price as was sold by MdC. They had an extensive selection of Plisson brushes and they were the same as Plisson charged. The saleslady I spoke to spoke perfect English and was quite knowledgeable. She knew more about straights than I did!
Maybe I can get back the VAT, that might be enough to convince my wife i did good, lol! That and throw in a bottle of Channel Parfum [emoji1]

At Printemps and other department stores, they are very helpful in helping you to fill out forms to get the VAT tax back.

Hi all. Just wanted to post an update....

Well, I went to Primtemps Homme, in Lyon and they no longer have a shaving section [emoji22]
They do sale Aqua De Parma, but I wasn't ready to spend that kind of money over shave soap yet.

But, I didn't go empty handed. I bought 2 packs of blades and a shave soap from the local Carrefore and from another grocery chain called Casino. These were a bit less than 4 Euro so not to bad:

I have tried the Carrefore blades, and they were a little on the rough side, but have a very good, no irritation DFS. But, the 2nd use was very rough. It was probably my fault, as I was rushing a bit. I'll revisit them again later.

I wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions. I hope I'll have more time next time for a stop in Paris [emoji1]

Nice pictures! I took my camera as well, but I didn't have hardly any time off to breath.
