Today is my wedding day and I wanted to share with the B&B Global Community of Gentlemen ( and Ladies ) my Shave and Fragrance choice for this important and very special day in my life.
I chose some very different hardware and software for this eventful date, and actually the frangrance was chosen for me by Melissa, my bride to be. She chose Floris Santal for me and she will wear Floris Bouquet de la Reine. We could have very well have chosen Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet and Lily & Spice as we both love those as well but Floris won out.
My shave will consist of my Great Great Grandfather George Rook's 1850's era Wade & Butcher wedge in ivory scales as well as both a Tony Miller 4-sided pasted paddle strop and a 3" Latigo hanging Heirloom strop, the surprise is a very vintage boar that I purchased on the BST in 2007 from slcsteve, Acqua di Parma shaving cream. DR Harris Pink Aftershave ( as a tribute to my Bride ), and the Floris Santal. I will also incorporate my daily hair regimen of Tabac Hair Cream and in the shower, Blenheim Bouquet soap, shower gel, and shampoo all by Penhaligon's.
Myy suit is a newly acquired, off the rack ( with slight alterations and heming) (Nordstrom) Calvin Klein medium gray with a Nicole Miller french cuffed white shirt and Donna Karan tie. Gucci Beautiful vintage cufflinks from Melissa's Maternal Grandfather will be worn by me as well.
