MAX Platinum blades - Made in P.R.C

Few days ago I stumbled upon these blades in a small neighborhood store. Max Platinum Blade - Platinum coated edge super stainless steel, made in China. I did not find anything about this product using the search engine of the forum. Yesterday used one and the first impression is that it is not scary sharp, but may be - the more experienced among you can tell - this will improve with the next use. Greetings!

I recently purchased some PealMax blades that have a very similar design.

Yet another Chinese blade. They seem to multiply in the recent years. Do not expect a Chinese blade to be very sharp. The Chinese users don't like super sharp blades. There have been a few reports about this from Westerners who live there. The huge majority of those brands are subpar when it comes to cutting very tough whiskers, which are common in the West. And many of them go south after only one shave with tough beards.

One month later - Max Platinum Blade Platinum is a huge disappointment. Total crap. Probably these blades can be used for some activities, but wet shaving of humans is not among them. Stay away! Greetings!

The wrapper appears to be an imitation of Super-Max.
