Marilyn Monroe, Super Speedin' on the Cover of Esquire circa 1965

Flipping through backpiled issues of Esquire laying around the office (first thought: I have that razor!) the other day, searched it out on Google to post on B&B and ask if anyone had seen it before... either in the recent remake with Jessica Simpson, which had both covers, or back in 65 when it was printed? Think I may try and get SWMBO to pose like this when she gets home

Interesting article. They must have waited a few years to put the issue out, though. It says Monroe turned them down, and I think she died in 1962, so they did the shoot with Virna Lisi right away. The magazine is dated March of 1965.
