Mama bear soap

Wow this is getting bad only been wet shaving for a week already bought a different shaving brush and just ordered my first mama bear honeysuckle shaving soap. Anyone on here ever use it?

I was not impressed. Lather was nothing special, and my skin did not react well to MB or Ogallala soaps. After 3 days, SWMBO thought I was sunburned.
I now stick with only tallow soaps and have never had a reaction.

Welcome to B&B. Mama Bear is my everyday soap and I haven't had any problems with it. I always recommend people get a sample sliver ($1) to try out since some people are sensitive to some of the EO/FO she uses. I like florals and the honeysuckle gave a great shave like always for me, but it was too sweet so my daughter got it for a bath soap. Ye Olde Barbershoppe has been my summer soap with an occasional Phoenix Rising or America thrown in.

As with all things wet shaving YMMV. Find what works best for you that you like and go on. Some of the other highly regarded soaps here I have tried haven't worked for me.

I've tried it.
I've actually been through two full tubs of Mama Bear soaps. I like them. They lather really easily and smell great.

Mama Bear was my first good soap. It lathers pretty well, but I don't use it often anymore as I've found a number of sops that I prefer

Most of the soaps in my rotation are tallow based but I enjoy Mama Bear's quite a bit. As other's have said, it's really easy to lather and i love the huge variety of scents. I have the mug size pucks of Dragon's Blood and Oakmoss & Lavender. Haven't opened the O&L yet but i love the scent of the Dragon's Blood.

Much better out there for the money. I would get the new soap from Al's shaving. Lots have compared it to MdC.

I just used the Lemon Ice soap before - what a nice scent and lather. Great cooling sensation also!

I have been using Mama Bear Ye Olde Barber Shoppe for a few weeks. Great smell and lather. I also have her America which I need to try since I understand its a great summer soap.

I have used their soap for about 3 years now. I have tried about 7-8 different scents and have enjoyed them all. I really like their mentholated versions too.
