Malocchio turned me on to Sputnik Blades!

I never thought I would ever say that I found a DE blade that I liked better than Astra SPs!
Malocchio and I recently swapped some software and we tossed in a few DE blades as a bonus. He sent me Sputniks and Super Max Blue Diamonds.
The Sputniks were really sharp but, they gave a comfortable, smooth shave. No surprise nicks or razor burn - just a really great shave. Those Russians are on the money when it comes to DE blades.
I think I may be PIFing my Astras soon! Sputniks are AWESOME!!!

I've used two Sputnik blades and had the same experience as you had. Some have said the quality control on these blades is spotty, but with my tiny sample size, I say they're a winner.

I'm the same way! I just ordered three different bay rum aftershaves after reading good reviews. B&B is cutting into my retirement savings!!!

I agree but, I had a few bad Astras as well. I buy a few packs and see how it goes.

Yes indeed! I bought 10 packs of Super Iridiums from a B&B member in Spain a few months ago.
Shaver Joe in TN sent me some Bay Rum AS, Malocchio in CA sent me Sputniks and I bought Iridiums from Spain! B&B is expanding my horizons!!!

I use both the Teflon coated and the Stainless Platinum,great shaves from both...these blades have been around since the Soviet era,tried & true !
