Indeed it is. I've recently gotten really interested in woodworking and have read your excellent article a few times. I've been turning up such a storm that SWMBO is starting to wonder if I'll start sleeping in the garage.

All in all, I'd highly recommend it to anyone - it's very relaxing, almost hypnotic in a way. There's also something very rewarding about starting with an unassuming chunk of wood and discovering that there was a crazy beautiful grain pattern waiting within.
