Maas cloth

I recently purchased this:



Apparently MAAS makes a microfiber polishing cloth that is impregnated with MAAS Lavender scent. Not only does it smell nice when you use it, but even on items I have already polished, there is a noticeable difference in the shine! It is a really great product, and I would recommend it to anyone who buys older razors and wants to clean them up. If there are any people like that here...?

I'm not sure about that cloth, but I wouldn't use regular MAAS on anything that is plated, like a safety razor. Too aggressive.

What do the instructions say about products it can be used on?

It says it can be used on everything, and actually recommended for plated metals. I used it on a plated razor with no great results. The polish it is impregnated with is a dry polish and seems to be mild, yet effective

Well, that looks mild enough. I guess it would be ok to restore a dull razor. I would still not use it regularly on the same razor, as it will speed up the brassing.

I don't think it would be a problem, only since they actually recommend it for plated metals

yea mine says ot for use on thinly plated metals. hmm i have been using the stuff exclusivly with no problems. maybe i should switch to some thing else. also, mine says french lavender on it and it smells nothing like that when im polishing.

I've used MAAS on every kind of plated razor imaginable with no issues and fantastic results. Not harsh in the slightest from my experience
