Looking for a good mentholated balm or milk

I recently realized that I've got a mentholated splash (Aqua Velva), a more mellow splash (SCS Med citrus), and non-mentholated balm (Proraso), but no mentholated balm. I want something for drier days in spring and summer when I want a cooling effect, but I want the moisture as well. Right now I'm using a combo of the AV and the Proraso to get the same effect, but if possible I'd like to keep things as simple as I can. Any recommendations?

No love for the mentholated balms? Someone out there must have a great chilly balm they're just dying to tell the world about.

There's some menthol in the Alt-Innsbruck ASB. It's my favorite ASB and it works great with the AS/cologne. If you enjoy the scent, Alt-Innsbruck is one of the best out there. You can find it at WCS.

I've not tried it, but you could give Gentlemen's Best "chilled' a go. I've heard good things on this board, and though I've unfortunately not had the pleasure of doing business with Ray (ThirdEye), he is known to be a very stand-up gentleman.

I've used Wesley & Scott ASB (from shavingessentials.net), which isn't really available anymore. However, Barclay Crocker ASB appears to be pretty close to the same thing. Both are mentholated. I don't want to say its SUPER mentholated, but it does have a slight cooling effect. It contains lanolin (per the website), vitamin E and menthol. It leaves my skin feeling great. FWIW, I have dry skin, and get good results with this. Its my daily balm.

I'll second Alt-Innsbruck, and also recommend Mama Bear's Mandarin-Ice milk. I have a feeling I'd the lime scent better than the orange, but man, it's nice! I'm a little disappointed I bought a sample first ;)

Mama Bear will add menthol to any of her aftershave milk scents (choices are myriad). I believe TSD will also.

Check out the aftershaves at theshaveden. Joanna has both an AS milk and splash in a variety of scents. You can get sample sizes of both to try them out. I personally like the Subzero which is a nice mint/menthol combination.

It is worth noting that the sample sizes are pretty substantial - will last quite a while before you will need to invest in the full size bottle.

i found a good smelling mentholated aftershave made by walgreens of course also sold at walgreens. its green i dont think it says it on the front but if you open it and give it a smell you will feel it rushing into your nose a strong amount of menthol hits you.
