Lilac Vegetal: No pain, no gain

It took me awhile, and I still feel fear doing an odd little corkscrew dance up my backbone when I reach for it, but I'm enjoying the LV now.

If I hadn't read the posts on B&B about sticking with this odd scent, I would have dumped the bottle after the first incredulous encounter.

As an AS, it works really well. As a scent...I can see it's not for everyone, and it won't be every day for me.

But I like it.

It's not for everyone, but I think that's part of the reason I like it. It speaks to the contrarian in me.

What about an LV scented shave soap?

I actually tried that with cream. I had a tube of AoS unscented and I thought that it was pretty boring. One day, I gave it a jolt of Clubman. That lathered up pretty nice so I kept at it for a while. Finally, I got bored with it and tried Lilac Veg. Truly fantastic.
