1 year, 6 months, 6 days by my figuring. Shortly after starting I started making my own soap, then my own after shave (have a better recipe now Frank!) and you know, sort of immersed myself in it al. I finished my 100th shave on 9/12/14 and I've been all straights since then.
Because I don't often have a lot of time I most frequently use my Feather clone, and I like the Feather AC Pro Guard blades most times. I have also started woodworking again so I also have a pile of chisels and planes to sharpen - making the whole "get the stuff out and hone" thing easier. I have a set of synthetics, but still have my JNat as well.
All in all I'd say I can safely call myself a straight blade shaver through and through. Oh, and tallow rules, veg drools!
Your original recipe was a classic Lee.
