Knize Ten or Trumper Eucris???

Antique Hoosier

I'm bound to purchase one or the other as a departure from my Trumper Rose Soap "Fidelity" experiment.... Wanting something wayyyyyyy different, I figured I would pull the trigger come late Fall or the Holidays on one or the other...(maybe both). Funds are not an issue, space is not a concern, finding a really unique cologne scented shaving soap is the goal... Which one would you choose?

I'm interested in this choice too. I like Knize Ten as a fragrance, and I've been curious about the soap. Anybody have any thoughts?

I like Eucris, but I LOVE Knize Ten. Seems to my nose that once Eucris has moved out of the motor oil and grapefruit stage, it doesn't do my. The Knize Ten, otoh, evolves for hours.

The soap smells just like the juice. And it smells good. But the weird lather is a turn-off. It works fairly well, but there is something oddly disappointing about it.

The Eucris on the other hand--I am completely psyched up for.

I was disappointed in the Knize 10 shaving soap. My puck was VERY weakly scented -- I was hoping for a blast of Knize, but got just a small hint. The lather was also a little thin for my taste. I found the lather similar to shea butter soaps, which don't seem to offer me as much protection as tallow soaps.

For all round performance and having tried both (sold the Knize 10 on BST) I'd go with Trumper's Eucris. The lather produced by the K10 wasn't upto the same standard as the Trumper's is, and its even better if you enjoy the scent of Eucris :001_smile

This weird thin lather issue mentioned by more than one member reminds me of the Reformulated Floris #89 I have avoided for similar reasons. Might be leaning toward the Eucris!

I'm one of the few who like the soap. It has a par lather but the shaving properties are quite well, especially in the moisturizing category since it has lanolin. The scent is pretty spot on to the juice and it's my evening wear set up with the rest of the K10 deodorant, splash and cologne.

Well Mike, for me it comes down to this. I want them both! But I will "settle" for the Eucris shave soap right now.:001_rolle
