Kicking Horse Coffee

I came across this Canadian coffee company online, and it seemed interesting. It looks like they make several dark roasts, which I like. Has anyone tried this brand or know if it's any good?

I tried those a few years back, great coffee. They don't have it down under, unfortunatly...

I think you mean "Kick ***", but yes... it's very good. So is the 454 Horsepower.

This is one of the best "supermarket" coffees out there IMHO. While I think its expensive (generally sells for around $15 per pound) I often pick up a bag or two when it goes on sale (I've bought it for as low as $11 per pound).

After years of buying locally roasted beans, discovering this coffee was a revelation. They have some delicious blends. My current fave is the Three Sisters blend - an interesting blend of light, medium, and dark roasted beans. The Z-Wrangler is another good blend of theirs.

Can usually find it in grocery stores for $10-$14 a pound.
