Keeping several creams fresh

I already have a couple creams and some samples to go thru. Enough to last a year and more likely 2. I have my eye on some Castle Forbes Lime and I think it is enough to last a year, 200 ml.

How do you guys that have up to 30 creams keep them fresh? Must be enough cream to shave for 5 years for some here. I emailed TOBS and they said their creams are good 1 year after opening.

Have heard refrigerating helps. Would freezing be even better?

Keeping them in a cool place helps significantly,IMO. I don't know how freezing and then thawing out would effect the quality and texture of the cream. I wonder if anyone out there has done it?

I'm down to one cream, TOBS Rose, that rarely sees use. It's almost 2 years old, half-full, and it looks and smells as good as it did when I got it. I keep it tightly closed and stored in my bedroom nightstand (or dresser) away from the heat and moisture in the bathroom. In my cream days, I did have a few dry up. I tried to revive them by adding water but never liked them afterwards. If my current one dries up, I plan to leave it alone and load it like a soap.

Good suggestion Brian. If one of the creams you really like eventually dries up,try loading it like a soap. That should work.
