Just ordered my 1st straight!

Hi guys. I have been DE shaving now since the start of Feb and fancied giving this a try. After some discussion, i have just ordered the following:

A vintage german Solingen razor made by Ernst Melchen. This has been honed and made shave ready for me.

Neil Miller Strop. (It is from Neil that i have ordered all of this).

I'm really quite looking forward to giving this a shot when it comes through! Though i am well aware that this will probably open up yet another AD

Straight razor shaving has been a godsend for me. No more irritation or ingrowns. It takes longer than DE or cartridge, but it's worth the extra time. I actually find it very relaxing in the morning. It sharpens (no pun intended) your skills in the morning too.
