RED SKELTON’S RECIPE FOR THE PERFECT MARRIAGE:

6. She has an electric blender, electric toaster and electric bread maker. She said “There are too many gadgets, and no place to sit down!” So I bought her an electric chair.
7. My wife told me the car wasn’t running well because there was water in the carburetor. I asked where the car was. She told me, “In the lake.”
8. She got a mud pack and looked great for two days. Then the mud fell off.
9. She ran after the garbage truck, yelling, “Am I too late for the garbage?” The driver said, “No, jump in!”.
10. Remember: Marriage is the number one cause of divorce.
11. I married Miss Right. I just didn’t know her first name was ‘Always’.
12. I haven’t spoken to my wife in 18 months. I don’t like to interrupt her.
13. The last fight was my fault though. My wife asked, “What’s on the TV?”

Like a ravenous pack anymore. That entire shipment sold off in under an hour.
The price was at the threshold of crazy (56 cents/rd) ... but I suspect it's still heading north from here on out for a while.

I’ve seen deals at under 25 cents/ round on ammoseek yesterday and today. They’re sold out before I can put them in my basket, but at least lower prices are starting to appear.

That's a little more like it. If it's not steel. Most of the cheap stuff still out there is Russian steel.
These people suck.

The Bone Frog guy just got some various calibers in today. Federal and Speer.
He leans towards LE grades, and the prices are ugly, to say the least.

I have had the same thing happen with: Cabelas, Academy and Basspro. It's frustrating....not sure why the advertise it on stock.....

You’re not the first person I’ve heard that from. Same with Cabelas dropping orders. The Federal was a surprise, but they use a third party for consumer sales. Same with Speer.
The ammoseek listings are not always straight, either. It happens occasionally that a really low price hangs at the top of the queue, when in fact the vendor has been sold out.
It’s the wild west of ammo out there right now.
I do feel bad for the new people and those who haven’t built up an ammo locker. A lot of people are just more casual firearm enthusiasts with a gun or two and don’t think about these things.
I’ll keep posting promising new listings on this thread as time permits.
And this is why I reload. Even the stuff that is normally too cheap to reload, I stock the stuff to reload it when the market gets stupid. In sane times my reloading is concentrated to high accuracy loads and odd ball stuff.
