Jumping back in, narrowed down to Lupo VS Timeless (help)

Beet her to it!
Looking at the double sided lupo or the double sided timeless. I like the idea of having the open comb side. Is timeless worth the extra cost? I know it’s kind of silly, but it is a bit of art as part of our man ritual lol. What do you gents suggest.

I've tried the Lupo 0.72s... SB and OC... The OC was very nice, but I did end up selling my Lupo with 4 base plates and two handles.... I just love my Timeless 0.68OC... I do have two hybrid heads..one with a scalloped titanium cap and stainless steel base plate and the other with a scalloped bronze cap and titanium base plate...

I don't need the efficiency some people require, so the 0.68OC is perfect for me.... But you might prefer the 0.95OC.... It depends on your whiskers, of course. The Ti Crown handle is lovely... I have 9 of them now... all my SS razor heads are mounted on one, if it made my Top Razor List.

I added two more after I took this photo. The bronze scalloped top is now combined with the ti baseplate and I have a Timeless Slim with a bronze cap and SB Slim baseplate.

I had a Lupo with several base plates including the DC. I sold them some time ago. I find my stainless steel Timeless .95 (also have a .68) to give a much more comfortable shave. Yes it's a bit heavy. Yes it's a bit bulky. But it's smoothness, comfort, and efficiency make it a keeper. I get great shaves with it.

FYI, I had a Titanium Timeless with several plates and sold them. I'm the odd guy that prefers the weight of stainless steel.

I will probably be the odd man out but I would take the Lupo over the Timeless. I’ve had/have both and the Lupo 95 SB (never had OC) shaves better for me. Timeless razors for whatever reason haven’t been very efficient (and I’ve tried them all). The Lupo is smooth and effortlessly takes off the whiskers……plus the price is right.

To each his own. For me the Lupo in its various forms was never smooth. The Timeless SS .68 OC and the Bronze .38 SNB have always been very smooth, efficient, and great for a six day a week shaver like me.

I own a Lupo Dual Comb .72oc/95sb and it's fantastic, super efficient while being a breeze to shave with at a shallow angle for me, if you want a mildler shave use a less aggressive blade and it will be easy street. If money is a concern, I'd consider picking this up for yourself and pairing it with razorrocks Ti halo handle, I paid 73$usd for my Lupo DC and consider it a fantastic purchase with an excellent efficient close shave. I can't speak for timeless as I've never owned one, but other forum members love them so there's that aspect. Anyway just my .2 cents on the matter.

I have Lupo 72sb and DC (72oc/95sb). The DC is an amazing razor. I pair it with Timeless Titanium Crown handle. I find the DC easier to use compared to Timeless Titanium 95SB. Timeless' head is bulky. All these razors shave well riding the cap. YMMV

completely agree on all fronts with you Ong! my Lupo DC is basically unreal and incredible beyond words, best bang for bucks and value! I pair mine with KAI'S and Bic CP.
